Welcome to Farrell HR! I’m Lorna, the heart and soul behind this HR consultancy, and I’m thrilled you’re here. With over 20 years of experience in human resources, I have dedicated my career to helping businesses, organisations, and employers navigate their people challenges. My passion lies in providing tailored, practical solutions that empower businesses to thrive and create positive workplace cultures.

My Journey

My journey in HR began in an HR Administration role, which laid the foundation for my understanding of effective people management practices. I went on to achieve a Master’s in Human Resource Management, and over the years, I have honed my skills and expanded my knowledge in various areas, including employee relations, organisational change, and performance management. I am a proud member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and have acquired certifications as a Mental Health First Aider, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Certified Practitioner, and PI Practitioner.
 

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of businesses, from start-ups to established firms, including extensive experience in the Logistics, Manufacturing, and Automotive sectors. This background has provided me with a unique perspective on the complexities and challenges these industries face, allowing me to offer tailored solutions that meet their specific HR needs.

My work with businesses in these sectors has deepened my expertise in managing HR within fast-paced, dynamic environments. I understand the importance of having a flexible and reliable HR partner who can adapt to the evolving needs of your organisation.
